When you register as a volunteer be sure to select “To earn a Race Discount Credit” as your primary reason for volunteering. Volunteers that select shifts that do not take place on event day will have their code sent to them via email after they have completed their shift. You may use this code to register for any Savage Race event. Event day volunteers will receive their bib at the Volunteer Tent upon conclusion of their shift. If you would like to defer your race credit to another event, simply check out with your Volunteer Coordinator at the end of your shift and let them know that you are opting for a future race discount credit* and you will receive a discount code via email the week following the event.
Here's how you apply your race code:
You will need to register yourself online at savagerace.com/locations and select your event. On the right-hand side of the page, there is a blue header label with "Order summary" in white text. In this box, there is a text field that says "enter promo code". You will put your code here and click "Apply." You must follow these steps for the discount to be applied to your registration.
*A race discount credit earned from volunteering at Savage Race DOES NOT cover the flat $15 charge (state taxes will apply where applicable).
