Why does it cost more to run in the SavagePRO wave?

The SavagePRO wave costs $30 more than the open waves because PRO racers are eligible for prizes, medals, and the Savage Axe. SavagePRO racers are also given a guaranteed start time of 9 AM - 9:25 AM

This additional cost also helps encourage non-competitive participants to sign up for later waves, making the SavagePRO wave more competitive.
